where are you gonna hide…

The elite have always tried to challenge the  fact that this world we are living in is soon ending, stating various ‘perceived’ logical reasons. Even so, it should not be hard for anybody to notice that everything getting out of hand. You do not need a special kind of optical lens to see that we mother earth has never experienced what it is experiencing today.

The bible, written over two thousand years ago already foretold of all that which we are seeing and has warned that if we see this, then we should know that the time of Jesus is near

Mark 13:77“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end. 8“For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines and pestilence in diverse places. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. 9“But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.”

Since some say the  bible is compromised, how about we compare Biblical perspective to extra-biblical sources (history/secular). The future in plain sight by Eugene Linden explains 9 clues to the coming instability. (Non biblical writer):

  • The collapse of the global economy. I do not have to explain this point. Just in the last 5 years we have witnessed the biggest, unexplainable and most consecutive collapse of economies.
  •  The migration of the poor to the cities. Dawn reports; Of the total population estimated at 6.3 billion in 2005, 3.7 billion lived in rural areas (65.96 percent) and 2.6 billion lived in urban areas (34.04 percent).By 2020, the population is expected to reach 8.4 billion at an annual growth rate of 1.8 per cent, with urban populations at 71.2 percent.”  At the current rate, towns are already full and any addition would literally chock them. the Middle East alone is supplying more refugees than all the wars fought in America combined. original
  • Population explosion (urban and rural).This point is a stand alone but looking at the explosive figure in there above extract wouforecast_derived_from_LTGmodelld give you a rough picture.
  • Global warming. whether Sdn11639-2_808cientists argue that wWorld Human Population Explosione are within the normal ranges or not, global warming has now become a song. Why…can the current rate of global warming be tamed? Or shall we prepare for a global melt down…
  • Economic disparity between rich and poor. 85 richest 3.5 billion oxfam  comparing-wealthThe margin between the rich and theconsumption-inequality-2005-pie poor continues to grow and now most enterprises are aimed at making the most profits and, cutting workforce and not on service provision. eg(Bill Gates valued at 86 countries)
  • The collapse of bio ecosystems and environmental concerns. Every other organism is disappearing from our ecosystem at the hands of man who once was the keeper entrusted to take care of everything. Selfishness has led to man manipulating every other of God’s own creation.
  • Water and food shortages.  ipcc.ch/…ions_and_data/ar4/wg3/en/ch1s1-3tmp508344232528838658water-shortage
  • Infectious diseases – Yes diseases were there even in the past but re-surges (reappearance frequency) and resilience (ability to survive available medicines) is what is threatening. Bird flu, Ebola, swine flu…etc.
  • Radical fundamentalism in religion Fundamentalist. Never in the history of the world have people been so ruthless and intolerant of other people’s religious values. Indifference now proclaims enmity.

” {to hate is human, to bomb is divine: ISISL.}The fundamentalist militant group Boko Haram emerged in northern Nigeria around 2002 and since 2009 it has waged an unremitting, increasingly violent and increasingly sophisticated insurgency against the government of Nigeria, characterized by political assassinations, bombings, and attacks on Nigerianbokogovernment institutions, Christians, apostate Muslims and government-run schools.For nearly five years, the group has killed thousands across Nigeria’s north and yet none of its violent acts has succeeded in provoking the degree of revulsion worldwide as the 14 April kidnapping of 276 girls from Government Girls Secondary School in Chibok, in Nigeria’s northeastern Borno state.”

Looking at Revelations: Rev 3:11; 22:7; 22:12; 22:20 …’behold..I come quickly’ Rev 16:15 ‘blessed is he that watcheth,…’ Jesus warns us about His coming and the signs to look for: Matt 24:3-4:

Deception and False prophets ’take heed that no man deceive you’

Jim Jones founded the American people’s temples cult – all committed suicide; David Koresh said “I am the lamb” believed he was the Messiah – all committed suicide;

Marshall Appelwhite convinced his followers to also commit suicide so that their souls could take a ride on a spaceship that they believed was hiding behind the Comet HaleBopp. ipcc.ch/…ions_and_data/ar4/wg3/en/ch1s1-3

Dr Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda believes he is the man Christ Jesus, the king of kings and lord of lords – has 300 TV and radio stations, 350 educational centre’s – teaches sin no longer exists, no devil exists – destroyed 2000 years ago http://www.cegenglish.com/apostle . He now claims to be the antichrist (changing ‘it’ into something good).

Time magazine had an article on his “A different Jesus to believe in?”

 Wars and rumors of wars: Bill Clinton as well as Budwig von Misis Institute quotes this as the bloodiest century in all history. More than 170 million people were killed by governments with 10 million being killed in World War 1 and 50 million in WW2 www.mises.org/story/2355. “The Pentagon’s budget equals half of the world’s defense spending www.spacewar.com/reports. That is more than the amount needed to eradicate malaria, malnutrition and cholera from the world at once.ulnutriti

Famines: Growing desserts, global mean temp’s is increasing – especially since ‘80’s;

Pestilences: Aids estimated at 47 million people infected worldwide, ETB, Bird flu, mad cow disease,

Earthquakes and in diverse places: amount of days (frequency) between the world’s worst earthquakes has decreased dramatically from 1998-2006. Also a dramatic increase in people killed (284 000 people killed in 2004 alone).

Destructive Weather patterns: Earth is now the hottest it’s ever been. Typhoons, Hurricanes. Increase in violence: lawlessness, inequity. Estimated that the average 18yr old has witnessed at least 200 000 violent acts of which 40 000 are murders. Violence on computer games, movies, road rage, video’s, in the home. Don’t look at signs in isolation, but all together!

2 Tim 3:1-4 ..’that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.

The world today is all about selfish desires : as long as it feels good, do it, if it looks good, take it, if it tastes good, eat it…; There has been unprecedented loss of family values; homosexuality; prostitution; rape…e.t.c, it interested me to notice and compare a chat  Top 7 disciplinary problems in ‘40’s o Talking out of turn o Chewing gum in class o Making noise o Running in the hall o Cursing in line o Dress code infractions o Littering Top 7 disciplinary problems in ‘90’s o Drug use o Alcohol abuse o Pregnancy o Suicide o Rape o Robbery o Assault.

Matthew 24:14 “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” But why hasn’t the world ended yet..because it’s not just about the Name of Jesus Christ but of his Character. Jesus does not want anyone to perish hence he is waiting until every ear hears of the glory of God and the sacrificial death of his son Jesus Christ so it shall stand as testimony during the day of judgment. “2 Peter 3:9 ‘The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.’ God is giving all of us a chance to turn fromevil so it shall not be as it was in the days of Noah.
